All drawers on the units feature fully extending metal runners alongside tongue-and-groove panelling on the bottom of the drawers and back of the units for added rigidity. The bed frame utilizes hook-and-screw mounting to easily affix the head and footboard to the side rails, while the slats are supported by a central beam to help reduce mattress sag and provide a better quality of sleep.
